Camden Disability Action is a Disabled People’s User-Led Organisation with a mission to provide quality services and support so Disabled Camden residents can live the life they choose. Aligned with the Social Model of Disability, we are focused on removing the social and physical barriers which society unnecessarily puts in the way - resulting in the marginalisation and exclusion of people with impairments and long-term health conditions.

As Director of Services, your primary focus will be to strategically lead and develop CDA’s services and volunteering function. This is an integral role for the charity and as such you will be an active member of the Senior Management Team in driving strategic direction and management of the service delivery function, whilst also providing thought leadership on services, innovation, disability equality and inclusion.

You will ensure that our suite of projects are delivered to high-quality standards and bring life-changing outcomes to CDA beneficiaries. With five direct reports, you will also develop and implement our commitment to quality assurance, championing the implementation of the Advice Quality Standard and Trusted Charity quality marks.

You will have experience of operating at a strategic level, working in a senior role and leading and managing teams, performance management and effective partnership working.

We are very proud to be a user-led organisation and especially welcome applications from people who identity as Disabled. As such, we can offer a guaranteed interview to Disabled people who only meet the Essential Criteria for the role.

This part-time (4 days or 28 hours per week) post is funded through our reserves and currently fixed term for 18 months. Extension beyond 18 months will depend on the success of our fundraising plans.
