We work in Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow and have a range of services and products to help children, young people and adults maintain and regain their mental health. We work with employers, partners, community groups and other charities to achieve our aims.

Job Purpose

To work as the Safeguarding lead for HFEH Mind ensuring staff are provided expert advice, training and guidance supported by a policy framework that enables them to effectively safeguard vulnerable adults, children and young people effectively and in line with best practice.

The Role

The Safeguarding Lead will play a key role in ensuring safe and effective delivery across all teams within the HFEH MIND and be part of changing lives for the better.

The SG Lead will closely with the Head of Youth services (HOY’s) and Head of Adult services (HOA’s) to shape and develop a safe robust governance structures across the organisation.

They will lead safeguarding within the youth service team and the subsequent liaison with the Local Authority safeguarding team and LADO.

As a relatively new service and team, you will be actively contributing to the shaping and development of the service and working closely with the HOY’s and where relevant the HOA’s in the development of new projects.
