We are looking for an experienced and qualified social worker to take on a key position in supporting and developing the organisation’s practice and its role in social work education.

You will advise and support management and staff on safeguarding issues involving children and young people. The services in question provide accommodation and/or support to vulnerable young people and the parents of children and young people. You will also help the organisation to develop the approach to assessing and managing safeguarding risk across the full range of services.

You will lead our Practice Learning Service, coordinating the placement of students referred from Universities, Colleges and other learning providers into the Private, Voluntary and Independent sector. This will involve working closely with placement providers, Universities and Colleges, Practice Educators, Practice Mentor Assessors, Students and local authorities as well as across the range of Framework services.
