Our advocate will need to be committed to transforming the lives of children and young people with disabilities. You will be joining a highly committed and well-supported team who are working together to champion the rights of children and young people.

Our advocate will have relevant advocacy experience and may hold a suitable Advocacy Qualification. Alternatively, we are also able to offer this post as a Trainee position who will be supported to gain a level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice (IAP) Qualification with disciplines suitable to this role.

Our services include Always Heard, the national advocacy safety net and advice service, and a range of local children’s rights projects such as advocacy for children in care, care leavers and other young people needing the support of Children’s Services. You would be joining us at an exciting time, when we have secured funding to support more disabled young people than ever before! At Coram Voice we already have a wealth of experience advocating on behalf of young people with disabilities. We work side by side with some of the most vulnerable children and young people in society and reach out to those who have missed the support they need.

Recruitment process

Following shortlisting, successful candidates will be invited to attend interview. The interview process comprises of a written exercise and a panel interview. Successful candidates will have a further one to one interview in accordance within Warner recommendations. Internal candidates will need to notify HR of their interest in the post and they will provide further information on the internal application process.
