Victim Support is looking for a Caseworker- Children and Young People (CYP) based in Preston or Blackpool and covering the Lancashire area.

Lancashire Victim support is commissioned to deliver NEST Lancashire, which is a specialist service to support young victims of crime.
An opportunity has arisen for two CYP case worker to join the NEST team to deliver the service to the young people of Lancashire. The posts will be for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You will be based at either our Preston or Blackpool office, however you may be expected to cover other areas of Lancashire if a need is identified needed.
As a CYP worker you will play a vital role in delivering our structured support service to young victims of crime and domestic abuse (aged 5-18). You will be responsible for establishing contact with victims to assess the impact of crime and providing appropriate information and support as needed.
You will have the relevant professional qualification and evidence of successfully delivering support to vulnerable children and young people. An understanding of the current issues for children and young people experiencing crime and the impact and effects of trauma and abuse.
You will be confident; self-motivated and have the ability and experience to motivate others to achieve results. Along with a high resilience and the ability to work under pressure.
