We are looking for a Children's Service Manager (CSM) to join our NW Mental Health and Trauma Services (NWMHT) at an exciting time of growth and development of new services.

As a CSM you will have management responsibility for a range of services which include the Additional Capacity Team ( ACT) which will offer virtual therapy to children and young people across the country, the Ribble Link Social Prescribing Service in Central Lancashire, and the Student Academy Programme. We are looking for an experienced manager who can lead new teams through a service implementation phase into full operational delivery to meet quality standards and positive outcomes for children and young people with a range of mental health needs.

Our ideal candidate will have:

- At least three years' managing children's mental health services
- Management of health contracts commissioned via ICB (formerly CCG) / PCN or other health bodies.
- Experience of designing and implementing waiting list management and reduction strategies
- Experience of taking a clinical governance lead role within mental health services.
- Knowledge of the key issues in relation to children's mental health

Additional desirable requirements include:

- Experience of using the IAPTUS Data Management System and associated reporting tools.
- Knowledge of the CSSO Service Delivery Framework and experience of implementing the Framework in services.
- Diploma level qualification in counselling, child and adolescent psychotherapy, art, play, drama or music therapy which has included a practicum / placement of at least 100 hours of supervised practice
- Registration with a relevant professional body e.g. BACP, PTUK, HCPC, UKCP

Suitable candidates will need to travel to Barnardo's offices across the North of England, but the main office base will be in Preston, Lancs.
