You will demonstrate the core values of Children's House - playfulness, acceptance, curiosity & empathy - in your approach, while also bringing excellent leadership skills to a busy service.
Barnardo's Children's Services Managers are critical to the delivery of our services. They are warm, outgoing, authentic, inspiring and passionate about the work they and their services do to support and amplify the voices of the most vulnerable children, young people and families in our society.
Our Children's Services Managers hold a pivotal and multi-faceted role in Barnardo's. Not only are they innovators and talent spotters who listen to service users and staff, using their feedback to continually refine and develop the support children and young people receive; they also influence and are critical friends to other agencies, in order to maintain and develop Barnardo's reputation as an advocate for Children, Young People and Families.
If you are a qualified, experienced social worker who would love to lead a service that puts children's needs at the heart of everything it does then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
