We are looking to recruit a part time Early Intervention Family Worker, to work 30 hours per week. You will work in partnership with Dundee City Council schools to ensure the effective implementation of both individual and group programmes of support designed to promote children’s wellbeing and attainment. You will work as part of a small team to plan and implement individual programmes which focus on the child as a whole person and support the child’s overall development.
You will hold, or be willing to work towards, a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or above (for example, SVQ3 Care plus an HNC) together with relevant experience of working with vulnerable children and families. You must also be able to demonstrate knowledge of children’s needs and development and the impact of wider environmental and family factors upon a child’s well-being.
At Aberlour we want to make sure every child and young person has the love, support and opportunity they need to reach their potential. If you share the same vision, we want you to join our team.
