Key Responsibilities include:

Promoting our service by visiting venues attended by older people and building relationships with other organisations where older people access services
Promoting the service directly to older people over the age of 50, especially those who are under-represented
Referrering into agencies that will offer social connection, advice, and health and wellbeing activities
Providing information in a variety of formats
Facilitating in-person activities focused on wellbeing and physical health
The ideal candidate will:

Understand the needs of older people from diverse backgrounds with a commitment to implementing equal opportunities
Be a confident, compassionate communicator using a range of formats
Have a good understanding of working across voluntary and community groups and statutory sector
Be able to travel across the borough using public transport
Have IT skills, including confidence in the use of Microsoft Office and Social Media
