About the role
We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to support families when their child has been diagnosed with cancer. You will predominantly be working with young people aged 16-24yrs but there will be an expectation that you support children under the age of 16yrs and their family.
Young Lives vs Cancer is open to and in support of flexible working. Your flexibility requirements and that of the role will be discussed at interview stage with you.
This role is part home, part office/ site based. You will have the opportunity to work remotely / from home within the parameters of our hybrid working arrangements, with 1 or 2 days a week in the office.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience of supporting children, young people and families in a hospital environment.
- Experience of supporting children, young people and their families remotely.
