Marie Curie Hospice Hampstead are looking for a part time Social Worker to work across both the Inpatient Unit and Outpatient Unit.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our Patient and Family Support Team to contribute to the provision of specialist palliative care for patients and their families/carers facing life limiting illnesses within a hospice setting.
What we are looking for:
- Degree in social work with relevant post qualification experience in health and social care
- Registration with relevant recognised body
- Experience of working with people who are living with life limiting illness
- Reliable and forward thinking with excellent communication skills

The post holder will provide excellent psychosocial support to patients and families known to Marie Curie Services. They will support service developments within the patient and family support team and work as an integral part of the hospice multidisciplinary team, ensuring organisational and professional practice standards are upheld, in addition to playing a pivotal role in safeguarding of adults and children who are supported by Marie Curie services.
The hospice has excellent transport links with London Underground, London Overground and buses nearby as well as free onsite parking.
