Victim Support is looking for a Team Leader covering Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence and Stalking, to be based in Manchester.

As a Team Leader you will lead the daily operation of our service by providing support and supervision to a team of Independent Victim Advocates, allocating work and managing workflows as well as dealing with case queries. You will provide regular 1-2-1s and case reviews to ensure the team are delivering against service objectives.

You will support the operations team through managing a consistent caseload and completing comprehensive needs assessments for referred victims, identifying appropriate services required and referring victims on to the relevant teams and organisations.

You will work with the Operations Manager, and other relevant managers to provide input to and ensure excellent delivery of the service with operational work plans, the continuous improvement of processes and the addressing of performance issues to achieve effective service delivery.

You must be able to develop and maintain effective working relationships and promote effective communication and collaborative working internally and externally with local partnerships, other agencies and stakeholders. You will also need to promote effective communication channels including co-ordinate and facilitate regular team meetings, collating local issues, feedback and learning to share with other colleagues and the Operations Manager.

Key responsibilities/ tasks:

- Carry out case management system audits & reports to ensure compliance with contract reporting requirements and VS national standards.
- Co-ordinate the capturing of data to ensure the work of the service delivery team is evidenced and outcome based.
- Allocating cases within the team and analysing stats and data to monitor daily caseloads against resources and look for trends/pattern of behaviour.
- Responsibility for data security, data sharing and systems management for the service delivery team
- Responsibility for quality assuring safeguarding paperwork and ensuring it complies to the service standards and safeguarding protocol
- Line management of operational team members to include recruitment, performance management, coaching & support and implementing formal employment procedures.
