As a Wellbeing Practitioner, you'll co-ordinate and direct the support to children, young people and families by agreeing and providing interventions, which may be specialised, enabling positive and agreed outcomes to be achieved.
The contract initially runs for 12 months – with the potential of extension. It will enable you to grow your experience and build your network with a wide range of organisations across the region and gain invaluable experience within a great Charity.
Salary: £22,500 per annum, pro rata
Location: Enniskillen, County Fermanagh
Contract/Hours: Fixed Term contract for 12 months / Part-Time - 30 hours per week

A bit about the role
Our Rossorry Grove Supported Accommodation is a purpose built 13 apartment supported accommodation service for young people who were homeless or at risk of becoming so. We work with young people aged 16 to 25 years, many of whom have been in care and / or struggle with significant mental health concerns and substance misuse issues.
Each young person will have their own self-contained flat and is staffed around the clock with a fabulous, committed team who work closely with our young people to support their development of independent living skills and enable them to move safely in the community.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
Some key responsibilities of the Wellbeing Practitioner role are;
- Engaging with vulnerable young people.
- Working with our young people in small groups and/ or on an individual basis depending on their needs.
- Working alongside other staff teams and outside organisations to ensure the best outcome for the young people.
- Ensuring progress is monitored, recorded and reviewed at set intervals, putting in additional support where required to ensure goals are met.
- Helping to train other staff members.
Let's talk about you
- Psychology or Health/Social Care/Youth related undergraduate degree is desirable.
- A counselling background or counselling skills would be advantageous.
- The ability to engage with young people and to gain their trust.
- Excellent record-keeping and report writing skills.
- Extensive experience of working with vulnerable young people aged 16-25 years.
- To be outcome driven and to be creative and to think outside the box.
