About this event

This event has now expired

This event is part of a series of activity across the UK to mark World Social Work Month 2022.

Tuesday 22nd March 2022 - 12.00pm - 1.30pm

Join us as we explore the experiences of refugees and people with insecure immigration status, particularly those trying to escape abuse. How can social workers effectively support people in these situations, especially when they have No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)?

We will have speakers from Just Right Scotland and Shakti Women’s Aid and there will be opportunity for you to discuss and reflect on practice.

The event will be held virtually via MS Teams.

BASW members please log in to your BASW account prior to booking to maintain your CPD record.
