Social workers around the world have witnessed and been affected by the devastating impact of COVID-19 on individuals, families and communities. Frontline social workers have been a crucial part of the professional response to crises and the range of complex needs that have arisen during the pandemic.

At the same time, the profession has had to adapt to the many challenges of organising and delivering essential services in such a fast-changing environment. In order to capture some of this learning, this online conference will bring together professionals, researchers and academics from a range of countries to examine social work practice through a global perspective during these turbulent times.
