Join Us as an Advanced Practitioner – ASYE & Skills Development

Are you passionate about shaping the future of social work?

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is looking for an experienced and dynamic social work professional to lead our ASYE and Skills Development programme.

In this pivotal role, you’ll support and develop social workers from student to progression, lead on ASYE, apprenticeships, and CPD, and work closely with the Principal Social Worker to drive quality and innovation across Children’s Social Care.

You’ll design and deliver training, mentor practitioners, and influence regional partnerships and national initiatives.

We’re seeking someone with: A social work qualification and SWE registration A Practice Educator’s Award Strong experience in mentoring, training, and direct work with children and family’s Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
