The Role:

We’re a high-performing County Council with a vision to help people live long, healthy and happy lives, with the maximum possible independence.

Strengths-based practice focuses on people’s resourcefulness, strengths and abilities to enable them to develop the best strategies to face life’s challenges and live independently and safely in the community. Supported by more experienced colleagues and qualified social/health care professionals, you’ll adopt this approach to assess an individual’s needs and provide them with support and guidance to maximise their wellbeing. Using your effective relationship management and negotiation skills, you’ll collaborate with service users, their families, providers and other health care professionals.
