The Domestic Abuse Intervention Delivery Manager will manage up to 9 staff based across the West Midlands police custody suites and in the community, including supervisions, setting & reviewing objectives, appraisals, performance management and implementing developments plans.

St Giles Trust and the West Midlands Domestic Abuse Support Service Consortium (Black Country Women’s Aid, Coventry Haven, Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid and the Haven Wolverhampton) are partnering to provide offender intervention and tailored victim support. St Giles will use its "Reachable Moment" service delivered in custody blocks, while the consortium will offer integrated victim support - to improve support services and prevent harm to victims.

About this exciting opportunity

The DA Delivery Manager will be responsible for developing close operational working relationships with key statutory services and other voluntary sector organisations, raising the profile of St Giles’ work within the region to support the client group. The AD Delivery Manager will also be accountable for all service delivery and outputs for St Giles Employees.

What we are looking for:

Experience of managing projects which provide support/ intervention to either perpetrators or victims of domestic abuse
Experience of managing and supervising teams of staff based in multiple locations or outreach across a wide geographical area
Experience of contract management
Knowledge and understanding of the issues faced by both perpetrators and victims of domestic abuse
An understanding of how employing staff with lived experience can provide additional value and impact to services delivered to their peers
Knowledge of domestic abuse perpetrator interventions
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults
Knowledge and a working understanding of the UK criminal justice system
