Duty Social Worker

The main responsibilities of this role are to:

Facilitate the matching process between CYP and available Foster Carers.
Complete ‘Expressions of Interests’ to evidence a match inclusive of support packages and fee’s.
Maintain relationships with Local Authorities in the South West Region and attend ‘Referrals meetings’.
Be a point of contact and provide phone support/guidance to foster carers in the absence of their SSW

As a Duty Social Worker you will be required to have:

A post-qualifying experience which should be in family placement work or post-qualifying experience in other childcare settings.
A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality and promoting their positive development.
Dip SW, CSS or CQSW qualification.
Current Registration with Social Work England.
