Job summary

As a Band 6 clinician the Mental Health Support Team (MHST) provides the ideal environment for you to expand your existing skills.

This service is particularly aimed at offering early intervention to children and young people experiencing mild not moderate mental health difficulties. MHST's main therapeutic approach is Low Intensity CBT via 1:1 or groups within an education setting.

We currently have vacancies in these localities:
-Harborough District
-City Northwest Locality

We work across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, with teams working across different localities. City localities: South, West, East, North, North West and Central County localities: Charnwood, Loughborough, Harborough, Hinckley & North West Leicestershire, Blaby District, Oadby & Wigston and Melton & Rutland.

Main duties of the job

As a registered Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist OR a registered Low Intensity CBT practitioner (EMHP or CWP) you will work in Educational Settings supporting children young people, their families and carers to promote best practice.

In addition, you will provide clinical supervision and line management to EMHPs and CWPs in the service.

Candidates must evidence in their application that they have completed Low Intensity Supervisor Training (LIST) or be currently undertaking this course.
