In our Professional Support Service, you'll play a vital role, supporting Children’s Services on an administrative basis, you'll contribute significantly to Children’s Services, ensuring positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families. What is the job role?

Come and join us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service’s journey. We are a team that works with colleagues at all levels across Children’s Services to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City.

We have a 18.5 hours per week, permanent part time position available at with our Professional Support Team, based on the 1st Floor, Moat House Leisure Centre.

This role will be based at one of our Wood End Children's Social Care Office. It is a face paced, energetic and exciting area to work in; where you will be part of a close-knit team ensuring the child’s journey within Children’s Services is the best it can be.

In this role you will be responsible for working closely with your peers, staff and managers, actioning and responding to emails, minuting varied professional meetings on an almost daily basis, updating case management systems and working in a fast-paced environment.

Have you got extensive administration experience, including Microsoft Office, and have great attention to detail, along with excellent communication skills? Then this is the role for you!

You will promote a positive working culture where Children and are at the heart of everything we do.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

This position is open to all applicants; however, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, for a minimum of 2 years.
