Stoke on Trent City Council have an exciting opportunity to train as a participation and engagement apprentice for our corporate parenting service.

The post holder will support the Participation officer to engage with our care experienced children and young people to help us to co produce the services that supoort them.

The apprenticeship will provide opportunities to develop skills in engaging young people, use of social media for engagement, dealing with colleagues within the service and a solid understanding of participation work with children; whilst completing a level 2 apprenticeship.

If you are interested in a career working with children and young people , this role is a fantastic first step into this area of work.

On completion of the apprenticeship you would be able to consider roles orfurther studies in youth work, social care, and community work.
