This is more than a job – it's a chance to be part of a forward-thinking, stable and supportive service, where your expertise, voice and professional judgment are truly valued.

Why this role?

As a Senior Social Worker in our permanent Court Team, you will:

A child-centred, restorative approach, working collaboratively with families and partners.

What we offer:

Up to 41 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
Option to purchase additional leave
Hybrid working and flexible hours
Relocation allowance up to £8,000 (subject to policy)
Manageable caseloads to maintain quality and wellbeing
Access to high-quality learning and development
Career progression opportunities
Strong supervision and peer support
Health and wellbeing initiatives
Access to staff networks including equality, diversity and inclusion forums

Why Stoke-on-Trent?

This is a city with ambition. We’ve been named:

One of the fastest-growing local economies in the UK
One of the most cultural places to live (The Sunday Times)
One of the greenest cities in the country

Stoke-on-Trent is more than just a great place to work – it’s a place where people care, where children and families are at the heart of everything we do, and where Ofsted has recognised real improvements in our services.

We don’t just say children come first – we mean it.
