We are looking for a confident, compassionate & committed Social Worker to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Bury.

You will be joining our team on a full time, 40 hour per week basis, Monday to Friday.

Cygnet Hospital Bury:

Cygnet Hospital Bury providesa wide range of inpatientmental health services for men and women including specialist deaf services andCAMHS provision for adolescents.

Each service user has a bedroom with en suite facilities and a range of communal spaces including a gym, laundry, occupational therapy kitchen, therapy garden and woodland walkways down to the Elton Reservoir.

Cygnet Hospital Dunes:

Cygnet Hospital Dunes is a specialist services consisting of 7 wards for female low and medium secure, male PICU and Acute and male and female deafness and mental health.

Your Day-to-Day

Youll be working 40hours a week
Work in partnership withservice users,their families and other stakeholders to assist with the recovery process
Forge links and maintain contact with other statutory agencies
Lead on the social care needs ofservice users
Ensure thatservice usersand their families/carers are aware of their legal rights
Take an active role in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
Provide written reports to the multidisciplinary team and other professionals
You are

A Registered Social Worker with Social Worker England
A relevant Social Work qualification
Experienced in working within a mental health setting, or passionate about working in this field
Knowledgeable of safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality issues & equality & diversity
An excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills and attention to detail
