Poetry for Wellbeing in Social Work Toolkit - Launch

About this event

This event has now expired

Join us for the launch of our Poetry for Wellbeing in Social Work Toolkit.

This project is a collaboration between the Scottish Association of Social Work, the Scottish Poetry Library, The Binks Hub (at the University of Edinburgh) and the University of Stirling.

We have worked together over six months to develop and deliver six Poetry for Wellbeing in Social Work workshops. The materials and learning from working with social workers in these workshops has informed the development of the toolkit.

At the launch we will share some of the findings from our project and from recent work on social work wellbeing. We have also commissioned new poems from poets John Glenday and Marjorie Lotfi, which will be shared by them for the first time at our launch.

Location: Scottish Poetry Library 5 Crichton's Close Edinburgh EH8 8DT
