Reducing health inequalities for Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic communities

About this event

This event has now expired

The disproportionate toll of coronavirus on BAME communities has been very much in the news. We’ve brought together a panel to explore questions of race and health inequality in the UK. Our panel bring their broad-ranging professional experience and personal reflections, and ask what practical steps we can take to address inequality in our health system.

The panel of experts in this podcast include:
– Cllr Ketan Sheth, Brent councillor, Community and Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee Chair, CNWL Lead Governor

– Dr Dele Olajide, formerly Associate Medical Director, Caldicott Guardian and Governor at the South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

– Shaama Saggar-Malik, founder, Diversity in Public Appointments

– Charlotte Bailey, Executive Director of Organisational Development and People, CNWL
