This webinar sees Sinéad McGarry explains her work on the development of a new practice model for working within nursing homes and residential settings.

The Liason Social Work Role in Nursing Homes and Residential Settings model for practice has been developed by the Irish Association of Social Workers in response to human suffering in nursing homes related to the COVID-19 crisis.

Sinéad explores the development of the model throughout the various lockdowns of the past year, as well as the role of a new remote community built within the same period.
