Values-based Practice

About this event

This event has now expired

It has long been argued that values are – or should be – at the heart of practice. So often when things go wrong in the workplace, it is because one or more people lost sight of their values. This webinar clarifies the role of values, emphasises why they are so important and offers guidance on how to make sure that our values are able to motivate us, sustain us and keep us honest. Values are often seen as abstract, intangible matters, but here they are presented very firmly as concrete and highly consequential, essential foundations for safe and effective practice.

Neil Thompson’s work is renowned for his success in engaging with complex values issues and presenting them clearly and accessibly without oversimplifying them.

The remaining monthly webinars in the 'Reflect, Learn, Thrive: Monthly pathways to professional excellence' series will cover the following topics:

What Does it Mean to Be a Professional?
Developing Critically Reflective Practice
Developing Anti-discriminatory Practice
Developing an Effective Team
Boosting Your Career
Managing Conflict

Please note: By signing up to any of the 'Reflect, Learn, Thrive: Monthly pathways to professional excellence' series webinars, you acknowledge and consent to being automatically enrolled with The Neil Thompson Academy.
